Meeting Minutes - December 9th, 2017

Meeting was cancelled due to the first snow storm of the season.

Please join us for our HOLIDAY PARTY in JANUARY!

January meeting will be January 13, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Optional Gift Exchange will be happening!  Come eat, drink and be Merry!

ONE EXCITING THING I was going to share with you all, was that on "Giving Tuesday" thanks to the kindheartedness of four amazing individuals, we raised $195.00 via PayPal due to a Facebook post!  That will enable us to cover expenses for two full months!!!  So grateful and thankful to those kind hearted people!!!

Patrick and I would like to take this moment to wish you all healthy, happy Holidays, whatever holiday you and your family celebrate!  We want to take this moment to thank you for your participation in Group this year.  Each of you is so vitally important to the well-being of each other whether you realize it or not!  These illnesses can be so debilitating and isolating.  Knowing others at the table are or have experienced what you are going through can be such a gift. And a very special Shout Out to our own Robbin, Public Relations Liason.  Robbin works tirelessly throughout the year to provide you with a varied and interesting number of speakers to help us all learn new ways to deal with Autoimmune Disease!  She manages the Group Library, carting all the books to and from the meetings, and even helps with sending out Press Releases to help spread the word that we are here!  THANK YOU ROBBIN FOR ALL YOU DO!  Patrick and I wish you each and every one, good health, good friends and a great New Year for all of 2018!

In other news, a new drug for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) has been FDA approved for not only relapsing, but also primary progressive ms PPMS.  Check out this link https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/ocrevus-ocrelizumab-primary-progressive-relapsing-multiple-sclerosis/
